    Assisting and guiding clients through the initial phases of their healing journey. GTS is a second home, and I cherish the collaborative work with the entire practice and clients.  It's a wonderful experience to have both my family and my chosen family working together for the same goals.

    To visit Italy, explore the coastline and the vineyards in Tuscan, and visit my extended family.

Debra Carnesecchi

(John’s sister, not wife 😉)

Debra Carnesecchi serves as Practice Manager at Gateway to Solutions. She holds certifications in Social Media Marketing and Public Relations Strategy from Cornell University, bringing contemporary business skills to GTS. Debra specializes in various areas, including business administration, public relations, customer service, accounting, and social media optimization. Additionally, she has completed specialized training at the National LGBTQIA+ Health Education Center, specifically the Foundations of LGBTQIA+ Health course.

In her role, Debra takes a warm and welcoming approach as the primary point of contact for GTS’s clients. She plays a crucial role in guiding clients through the therapeutic process, ensuring a meaningful connection with clinicians, and providing a thorough understanding of mental health benefits. Serving as the liaison between clients and clinicians, Debra delivers professional and compassionate customer service, facilitating a seamless journey for individuals.

Debra has forged relationships with journalists, leveraging clinicians’ expertise to contribute to news stories. She emphasizes the importance of GTS’s clinicians sharing mental health awareness through their experience, expert advice, and knowledge. Beyond external support, Debra works closely with each clinician collaboratively in the best interest of clients and the community.

With a major in Business Administration from The College of Staten Island and over two decades of business management experience, Debra brings a fresh perspective to Gateway to Solutions. Her diverse skills were recognized with a customer service award from Lucent Technologies and the Employee of the Month title at the NYC Department of Education.

Enthusiastic and eager to embrace new business approaches, Debra actively contributes to the success of GTS by assisting clients, clinicians, and the clinical director. She stays abreast of current clinical trends and innovations, quickly adapting to ensure the best outcomes for Gateway to Solutions and its clients.
